Hanqi is a practice-based researcher who graduated from the MA Interaction Design from the London School of Communication, University of the Arts London and currently lives and works in London(UK) and Shenzhen(CN). Her practices mainly focused on installation art, narrative film, generative art, 3D rendering and graphic design while her research revolves around media archaeology, speculative fiction, the entanglement between nature and technology like Guiyu e-waste problem in China. In recent years, her work has been exhibited at several international exhibitions and film festivals, including her installation projection work Down to the Karst Landscape(2023) at The Ars Electronica Festival. One of the team work Bread Manifesto(2023) won PARSONS GOOD INTERVENTIONS 23 Award, another team work Election: Urban Mining is one of the 10 finalists for the Lumen Prize, sponsored by Onkaos.
